Pierangelo Valtinoni’s fairy-tale opera after Hans Christian Andersen, commissioned by the Komische Oper Berlin: Gerda sets out to free her friend Kay from the Snow Queen’s icy palace. Anisha Bondy staged the world premiere for audiences aged six and up.
